25 yrs of this Icthyosis!

Hi!
I'm very surprised to see just how many people out there have this problem. It's conforting to know.
I've had icthyosis since I was 4 months old. They never gave me/parents a proper diagnosis. They just said "It's Icthyosis, put lotion on her" I'm 25 and I've grown tried and depressed with this condition. Recently I've tried a new dermo. The result is what they call Neutral Lipid Storage disease. This disease is affiliated w/ Icthyosis. I've never read anything on this nor have noticed anyone w/ Icthyosis mention it. Does anyone know anything about this? Anyone my age that has Icthyosis? Last question. I use Lac-Hydrin on my face. But I've notice it makes my face redder than it is and almost appears to give my face a plasticy look. Not to mention shiny. Anyone experience this?
