I can't control my ichythosis

Hi everyone
After suffering from ichthyosis as a child I luckily only had mild symptoms until recently. From 3 years ago I began to experience unbearable itching and the symptoms are getting worse. I have been prescribed high dosage antihistamines, bath emollient and strong ointment by my dermatologist but to little effect. As I live in the UK many of the suggested products listed on the products page which alleviate itching aren’t available here (well, not under the listed product names), and pharmacists here aren’t that familiar with the condition. If the products prescribed by my dermatologist doesn't work, what will? Please help.
