: hey there, i am 18 and have always known about my skin. i always felt selfconscience to go and converse with the people my age because they always seemed to scou at me for the way i looked. i am now discovering that my skin is starting to break out into blisters and i have been in great pain for several months because of these blisters. my dermatologist doesn't know how to handle this and neither do i. all i want is to have someone like me with ehk to talk to. thank you and please respond. 

: : : I never knew I had ichthyosis; I knew I was born with very dry skin, scaly legs, My doctor, when I was growing up never diagnosed or treated it (maybe they didn't know back in the early 70s?).  My face, chest and back developed a severe acne along with the scaling that I still battle.  I also thought I had rosacea.  It's getting worse as I'm getting older; is that the case with everyone?  The condition caused me to lose confidence in having a relationship with a man; is that the case with others out there?
