So first let me start this off by saying that this has absolutly nothing to do with my sons ichthyosis, but I wanted to run this by someone who might be able to help.

My one year old son is cutting his one year molars. His top right one is in and he just cut his two bottom ones today, his top left however is very swollen and bruised. That has not happened with any of his other teeth. Is this something I should be worried about. I e-mailed my doctor but have not gotten a response yet, he usually checks his e-mail late in the day.

Thanks for listening

Hi
I have 3 kids the oldest being 20 and a 9yr old and our 5 month (he is the one Ichthyosis) My two older ones never had that happen. I would probley say take him to the Dentist right away. It sounds like he might have an infection. It might be impacted. Just my opion I am not a Dentist, but have had many problems with my own teeth. Good Luck
