I am new in this forum, and would like to get in contact with other people that have EHK. I have a 21 month old boy with EHK. We live in Norway.I feel very helpless because I haven't got very much information about EHK from the doctors. Is it painfull? He also have something that can look like this in his mouth, is this normal? How dos warm weather/fever work for him? can he be allergic to food/pets? I really hope somebody can answer me. Monica

Monica,
I have EHK also. It can be painful at times, most of this can be avoided with a constant skin care routine. I don't know what that could be in his mouth, I've never had that. Hot weather should be avoided, we overheat very easily due to our thick skin causing cooling problems. He shouldn't be allergic to any more things then most people, but that isn't a rule. You can write me if you'd like and I'll answer any questions I can. My email is keithx1@earthlink.net
Keith.
