I have a mild form of ichthyosis.

Has anyone ever had clooged sweat glands on the feet? They look like and hurt like plantar warts but the podiatrist said they are clogged sweat glands. They can be very painful and I have to keep picking them off. When I go to the podiatrist he scrapes them off but they just come back again.

My daughter just had 3 of them. They looked like planter warts so I just used an over the counter wart remover to get rid of them. Maybe they were the same as what you get. I just thought they were warts so I didn't take her to the derm. I will have to if she gets them again. I thought it was weird she had them because no one in the house had had them and they don't take their shoes of at school so i wondered where she got them.

That is probably what they were. It looks like a white pin dot but they keep growing. The Dr. told me to use the wart remover and it will eventually come out. I have about 6 right at the arch where I put weight on my foot. It feels like I am walking on a pea.

Sorry, I know this is a bit of an older topic but I need a little help on it if you can. My Fiancé seems to be having this same problem. She went to the Dr and he dug it out and gave her some of the wart patches to put on her foot weekly. After 2 weeks she is still in a fair amount of pain and with our wedding fast approaching she is scared she will be in too much pain to dance. She made an appointment with a dermatologist scheduled for next week but in the meantime is there anything else we can do? Maybe a different type of product or something you can recommend?

Anything you can offer would be much appreciated and thanks again.
